Babak Radboy is an artist and art director based in New York City. He is the creative director of Bidoun Magazine — an award winning experimental quarterly arguably about the Middle East. His peripatetic Bidoun Library archive project has traveled the world including installations at the New Museum New York, Serpentine Gallery London, Tensta Kuhnsthall Stockholm and this fall at the 2013 Carnegie International in Pittsburgh. 

Last September he launched SHANZHAI BIENNIAL — an international fashion label pretending to be an art project pretending to be a biennial exploring the line between Chinese counterfeit culture, global trade, intellectual property and design at Beijing Design Week. 

Somehow along the way he directed the music video POWER for Kanye West for which he was nominated for Best Art Director at the MTV Video Music Awards.
