Conference
During this third edition of the QVED conference – Quo vadis Editorial Design? , held during the MCBW, magazine makers will present new trends from the world over, surprising counter movements as well as convincing contemporary transformations. In addition, a closer look at the art of photography for magazines, illustration and infographics will showcase the broad range of narrative levels available. Following the motto »Metropolitan Ideas« the focus will be directed on city magazines; we will explore to what extent they can influence future urban life. #qved is more than a conference created by and for the makers of magazines: it is a source of inspiration for designers.
At QVEDd 2015, designers, journalists and publishers will talk about their current work, allow insights into their projects, both successful and failed, and they will introduce inspiring examples of their colleague’s work. The new generation of multi‑media designers will bring together the reality of everyday life: image and script, apps and print, passion and pleasure.
Curated and hosted by Boris Kochan, Mike Koedinger, Jeremy Leslie and Horst Moser.
Throughout the entire conference, German-English and English-German interpreting services will be available.
