Steven Watson is the founder of Stack, the subscription service that delivers a different independent magazine every month. His magazine career began in 2000 when he started writing for FHM (at the time his favourite magazine) and while his tastes have changed since those early days, his passion for magazines remains undimmed. Over the last 15 years he has written and edited for corporate clients including Google, PlayStation and the World Economic Forum, but his first love is independent publishing, and he started Stack in 2008 to help small publishers reach a wider audience. Steven also runs magazine masterclasses for the Guardian, co-founded East London’s bimonthly Printout events with Jeremy Leslie, and speaks about publishing at universities across the UK.
