Cynthia Kittler (*1986) studied illustration and design at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Germany. As part of her BA thesis, she created an illustrated art book about the construction of reality, which won a silver nail at the ADC. Ever since, her list of clients has grown to include the New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, Focus, Bayerische Staatsoper and ZEIT Campus. For Büchergilde Gutenberg, a German book club, she illustrated Robert Gernhardt’s book “Die Falle“ (lit.: “The Trap“) published in September 2014. In addition to her commissioned works, Kittler continues to work on her own projects, some of which were created in collaboration with her artist collective Parallel Universe as well as for Re:surgo Berlin.
