Walter Green is a publication designer from San Francisco, California. He is the art director of Lucky Peach Magazine, an eccentric quarterly journal of food and writing, a job he's held since the first issue in 2011. As a designer, he's worked with McSweeneys, Beck, AirBnb, Random House, The New York Times Magazine, and many others, working on book covers, cookbooks, balloons, collections of sheet music, and, above all, editorial design. As an illustrator, his clients include New York Times, New York Magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the Atlantic. In 2013, he was named one of Print Magazine's New Visual Artists, and one of The L Magazine's 30 Under 30. He is currently trying to learn a little German.
